So these pictures aren't the BEST pictures ever. They're not really even that great, but I really enjoyed the way they came out. 

Yummy Eggnog custard pie Recipe!

I know I havent blogged in a while, its jsut been VERY chaotic. But I come back with a WONDERFUL recipe from the Deen Brothers! I am a huge paula deen and family fanatic I have most of their recipe books! Anyways this is a recipe I couldnt pass up because I LOVE eggnog. I hope you enjoy it as much as me!

Eggnog Custard Pie

Ingredients:
1/2 (15-ounce) package refrigerated pie crust
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup light rum
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Whipped cream, for garnish
Powdered sugar, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

On a lightly floured surface, unroll pie crust. Roll pastry into a 12-inch circle. Press pie crust into a 9-inch deep dish pie plate, crimping edges, if desired. Lightly poke holes into the bottom of the dough once it's fitted firmly in the plate.

In a large bowl, beat sugar and eggs at medium speed with an electric mixer until well combined. Add evaporated milk, water, rum and salt. Beat at low speed until combined. Pour mixture into crust. Sprinkle top of pie with nutmeg and cinnamon. Place pie onto a rimmed baking sheet with a depth of 1/2-inch. Add hot water to baking sheet.

Bake for about 55 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.

Cut into desired sizes and garnish with whipped cream and powdered sugar.
Servings: 1 pie
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 55 minutes
Difficulty: Easy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADILYNN!

First I would like to say Happy Birthday to my baby! Here are a Few fun facts about her and her Birth!

1. Her full name is Madilynn Elizabeth Grace Chance
2. Born Dec. 13th @ 1:49pm
3.weighed 6lbs 11oz and was 20 inches long!
4. Was born at North Central Baptist Hospital
5. Her name is spelled Madilynn just incase I wanted to call her Lynn, but I usually call her Maddi
6. We got grace because Chris' mom used to call him Grace because in England back then you couldnt get a sonography Im not sure if you can now or not, anyways she was sure it was a girl and his name was Grace until he was born.
7. We chose elizabeth because that was my great grandmothers name!
8. Originally her name was Cheyenne, then it was Elisabeth, Finally we decided on Madilynn.
9. She is a Mommies girl to the EXTREME
I love you Madilynn dear!

She is my best friend and I would say my PIC (partner in crime) But shes one of those excellent friends who would never let me do something stupid. BUT if I did do something stupid she would be right there next to me! I love her So much. We have some of the best times EVER, the even BETTER part is we're usually VERY sober! We're the kind of friends who get in a car and go and get lost for the fun of it! Thats how Awesome we Are!

A puppy or is it????

So I'm sitting here reading some things on Photography when I hear this barking noise.... I look up, I dont have a puppy. I scan around my living room, I hear Madilynn saying sit sit sit, GOOOOOOD, in excitement. I hear her click her tongue and Then I hear thumping. Madilynn comes around the corner  and Pets NATALIE on the head saying good girl good girl! I wish I could of recorded it. Madilynn had Natalie on a dog leash! As soon as Madilynn is done she takes the leash off Natalie and Natalie puts it on Madilynn and they do the same thing all over again. The things my children do for entertainment!!!!!!

The Daily Picture!

 So this isn't the best picture ever. It is taken with an old sprint flip phone actually. BUT the reason why it is so significant is because it is our very first picture together! Chris is a big part of my life he changed everything for me! I will go in more depth with that another day! This man knows me ALMOST better then my grandma knows me. I would say they know me about the same. Oh I'm going off subject but for example the other night it was pitch black in the girls room and I was laying on my tummy trying to get the girls in bed. Chris asked me why I was laying in there, I told him because I'm sleeping in here PERMANENTLY (we had just had a fight that night so it worked) Me I had a huge grin on my face. He said be quiet, I know you have a big grin on your face! Seriously How did he know that with me on my tummy? Because he knows me better then I know myself sometimes!

So some Facts!!!
1. this picture was taken of July 2007
2. This picture was taken at my moms house in Canyon Lake
3. we had been "together" for 2 weeks
4. In those two weeks we had quiet the adventure (I will explain in another post) Shoot that night was an adventure in itself!
5. He told me He LOVED me that night :)

Meet Addison! She is one of my three neices! This picture was taken on Easter of this year.

1. I don't get to see my addison as much as I would like to.

Winter

Winter of 2010!!!!!

 Febuary 2010! It was 5AM and I woke her up and threw the warmest clothes I could find on her! Boyyyy did she have a BALL I will never forget how much fun she had! Def. A great memory :)

I opened the door to let my husband out this morning, let me just say, There is NO denying winter is here. I love EVERYTHING about winter, it just seems like such a festive season full of Joy and happiness. I will have a list of my winter favorites Arriving soon, but for now its time to get ready for work. I dont know if I'm the only person who does this, buttttt I wake up a few hours early, take a shower, dry my hair, go cuddle in bed until my Alarm sounds off @ 8am and I snooze it for about 45 min! I never understand why I don't just set my alarm for 8:45 but I don't! Anyways my winter faves will be here by the end of the day, feel free to add any of your own or anything you think I miss about the winter!

I found this tree while doing the Photoshoot with Ashley! I absolutely love how creepy and eerie it is!

So these Photos were taken @ Champion Park, my new favorite place! Feel free to leave comments good or bad any advice you have would be AMAZING! I don't know if you read my must have items, but My pictures were taken with my Canon Rebel XS and edited with Photoshop lightroom 3 (both on the list). I use these Items on a daily basis and I never leave my house without a camera!

This is my VERY FIRST blog posting. I am currently sitting here with Natalie as she paints. I'm trying to figure out how to work the About me section of this blog, Sadly enough I have been trying to figure it out since lastnight. So a little bit about myself is in order I guess. I am a wife to Christopher Chance we have been together for almost 5 years, ok ok it will be 5 years in July. I have two beautiful little girls Named Natalie and Madilynn. Natalie turned 3 back in September and my Maddi bear will be 2 in 8 days! so it has been pretty hectic around here getting ready for her birthday AND Christmas. I am a student, I am currently studying to be a nurse but who knows how long that will last! I have wanted to be a radiologist, nurse, caregiver, and phlebotimist. Yes I am very indecisive about the medical field! My next passion is Photography, I am just beginning but hopefully it will take me somewhere. I feel so happy and comfortable when I'm taking pictures. I am A Hostess part-time @ TGIFridays, so my life is always on the go and Pretty chaotic!
